Roman Tol is a Dutch new media fan, reviewer, and critic. Roman obtained a Master degree at the University of Amsterdam (New Media and Digital Culture). His thesis-research concentrated on two relatively new phenomena: Locative Media and Protocol. Since 2006 Roman has actively participated on the Masters of Media Blog. His contributions vary from conference reviews to posts concerning artistic practices on- and offline. Recently Roman has published an article for The Mobile City Conference and the Institute of Network Cultures (INC).
Roman strives to be an active new media participant; teaching and publishing about media and art.
Dear Roman Tol, I have been reading your articles with much interest. Generally they are well thought and very informative. Unfortunately I have seen no new contributions for over a month.
